Car crashes into Delco home, strikes gas line

MEDIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- A car ran into a home, rupturing a gas line, and forcing nearly two dozen people to evacuate in Media, Delaware County.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Monroe and Jefferson streets.

PECO crews quickly shut off the gas leak allowing residents to return home.

No injuries were reported.

There is no word on charges at this time.
