Two and a half centuries of education

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- It's a 250th year of Rutgers Camden and everyone's celebrating!

Officials, students and faculty joined at the multipurpose room Thursday night on Penn Street.

The chancellor spoke about the school's founding in 1766.

Then there was a special birthday card and even a cake.

There was also be fireworks.
