Student designers show

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Some odd looking creations were on display, at a student design competition, here in Center City.

Aspiring designers from colleges and universities across the region, showed off their creative ideas for furniture, children's toys and other home furnishings.

It took place at the Philadelphia museum of art, as a host of visitors tried to figure out what they were looking at.

A panel of national judges will select the top 3 designs, based on creativity, and functionality.
