Firefighters battle apartment blaze in Wynnefield Heights

WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS (WPVI) -- Fire crews were on the scene of a high-rise apartment fire in Philadelphia's Wynnefield Heights section.

The fire started before 7 a.m. Friday at the Park Plaza condominiums on the 3900 block of Ford Road.

Crews arrived to find a small fire in the rear of the building.

They quickly went to work dousing the flames and ventilating the lobby area.

There were no injuries reported.

So far, there is no word on the cause of the blaze.
