A Camden County police car burst into flames early Saturday morning.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A Camden County police car burst into flames early Saturday morning.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. when two officers pulled their patrol car into the parking lot of a police substation on the 2800 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue.

The cruiser began smoking and eventually caught on fire.

November 19, 2016 - A Camden County police car burst into flames early Saturday morning.

The officers were to escape the vehicle without injuries.

Fire crews arrived to put the flames out, but not before the cruiser was destroyed.
