WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) --A young father was shot to death while sitting inside his car.
Nearly six months have passed, and the killer remains on the loose.
His family is coming forward, hoping you can help find the person responsible.
Terylon Bridges' uncle has glowing words to describe his nephew.
"Very polite, very private guy. Very, very extremely loyal friend. Give you the shirt off his back type of person," said Terry Bridges, uncle.
The 24-year-old was with friends along the 1600 block of Mochican Street in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane section.
It was just before 10:30 at night on June 3 when police were called for the report of a "person with a gun".
Bridges and another man were both shot.
Bridges died at the hospital.
The other man survived, but it's unclear if he has been able to give police any information.
"I think our young people have a lot of anger; no real skill on how to handle their grievances," said Terry Bridges.
The City of Philadelphia is offering up to $20,000 in reward money for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS.
"Because just as well it's my son, it can be anyone else's son," said Anthony Bridges, father.
For the Bridges' family, they say they will band together to help raise Terylon's 4-year-old daughter.
"The time that he had to spend with her was well, well spent, so now it's up to us to be good grandparents," said Anthony Bridges.
