A West Philadelphia family was forced to find a new place to stay after fire badly damaged their home.

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A West Philadelphia family was forced to find a new place to stay after fire badly damaged their home.

The fire started around 2 a.m. Sunday on the 100 block of North Dewey Street.

Firefighters arrived moments later to find smoke coming from the first and second floors.

Everyone in the home had already managed to get out safely.

Crews had the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

There's no word on what caused the fire.
