Toasting the creation of the Semiquincentennial Commission

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- It was a celebration of the country's past, present and future in Center City.

More than 200 civic and community leaders gathered Monday, November 21st at the African American Museum of Philadelphia to celebrate the creation of the Semiquincentennial Commission.

The group is in charge of planning how the country will commemorate its 250th anniversary.

They still have some time, the party will be in July 2026.
