Police say a woman is in stable condition after an alleged knife attack in West Philadelphia.

WEST PHILADELPHIA -- Police say a woman is in stable condition after a knife attack in West Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 62nd and Irving String.

Fire officials say medics rushed a 23-year-old woman to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, suffering from multiple stab wounds to her face.

So far, no arrests or word on a motive for the attack.
