PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Many will tell you the best way to stay warm is to stay inside. Well, when you don't have a home, inside is not an easy option.

The City of Philadelphia is in a Code Blue until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10. It's enacted in extreme cold, triggering efforts to shelter anyone who needs it.

If you see someone who needs shelter, city officials say contact Project Home at 215-232-1984 or Philadelphia police.
