Man critical after being gunned down in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A 45-year-old man is critical after being gunned down in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call of a man down on an unidentified street, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Responding officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

No word on arrests or a motive.

Police are searching the area for surveillance footage.
