Driver killed in Egg Harbor Township crash

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Atlantic County authorities are investigating a crash in Egg Harbor Township that left the driver dead.

It happened just after 3 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Zion Road.

Police say the driver of a pickup truck lost control and hit a tree, trapping the driver in the wreckage.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Egg Harbor Township police are investigating.
