Woman claims 2 men impersonating Philadelphia police tried to abduct her

SOMERTON (WPVI) -- A woman claims two men impersonated Philadelphia police officers and tried to abduct her.

She says it happened early Monday morning while she was walking along the 13000 block of Trevose Road in the Somerton section.

The woman said the men identified themselves as police and tried to question her, but they were not in uniform and never showed her a badge.

Police are not sure why these men approached the woman.
