Letters, and hundreds of other items from a Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton, sold for $2.6 million at auction.

Letters, and hundreds of other items from a Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton, sold for $2.6 million at auction.

They include manuscripts, personal letters and even a lock of hair from Hamilton's desk.

The Broadway show, "Hamilton" sparked interest in the auction, selling documents that correspond directly to famous songs.
