Big donation of spare change

NEWTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Newtown Elementary School is supporting the families of fallen heroes.

The students spent three days collecting spare change and they presented the grand 828 dollar total to the Travis Manion Foundation.

It's named after a LaSalle high school graduate who died trying to save other wounded marines in Iraq.

Tuesday's donation will help the foundation continue to help veterans and their loved ones.
