Driver smashes into parked cars in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Police say a driver lost control of a vehicle and smashed into parked cars in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of West Rittenhouse Street.

Two cars were hit and damaged.

The driver stopped nearby and was checked out by medics.

No word on why the driver lost control.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
