Philadelphia police are looking for the gunman responsible for a shooting that left a man injured in Germantown.

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the gunman responsible for a shooting that left a man injured in Germantown.

Police responded around 10:35 p.m. Friday to Matthews and Woodlawn streets for a report of a shooting.

Responding officers located a 30-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics rushed him to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

The victim told police he was walking down the street when an unknown black male began shooting at him.

The gunmen then fled southbound on Matthews Street and then eastbound on Woodlawn Street.

He is last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat jacket.
