EAST FALLS (WPVI) -- The search for a suspect near an apartment building in the East Falls section of Philadelphia has ended, and a reward is now being offered for his capture.

Action News has learned the suspect being sought by U.S. Marshals is 25-year-old Rashi Barnes.

Barnes, described as 5'10" tall and weighing 120lbs, is wanted on warrants from Pennsylvania State Police, Philadelphia Police and Lower Merion Police.

The U.S. Marshals say a $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.

Tips can be phoned in at 1-866-865-TIPS.

It was before 9 a.m. Wednesday when authorities first converged in the East Falls searching for Barnes.

Officers were in the 4000 block of Ridge Avenue around the Dobson Mills Apartments.

Marshals had tried to serve a warrant for Barnes, but he apparently evaded them.

He is believed to still be in that area.

Residents told Action News reporter Annie McCormick they weren't being allowed back inside.
