It happened around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Penthouse Club on the 3000 block of Castor Avenue.
Witnesses told police a gunman got out of a vehicle and opened fire into the crowd.
The patrons then ran for cover, but they say it appeared two to three men were the intended target.
Those men ran back into the club, and eventually left the area in a vehicle without contacting the police.
Many of the witnesses say they hid for thirty minutes, fearing they would be hurt.
Police found no blood or evidence that anyone was hurt at the scene.
