Philadelphia police commissioner gets parking ticket in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Not even the Philadelphia Police Commissioner can escape the PPA.

Action News is told Commissioner Richard Ross was at the Bellevue Hotel on Broad Street in Center City for a speaking engagement Tuesday morning.

He parked his vehicle in a rush hour lane with no stopping between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

The commissioner was subsequently given a parking ticket from the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

He has since paid the ticket.
