Honoring contributions to education

PENN'S LANDING (WPVI) -- Thursday the Delaware Valley United Negro College Fund held its third annual Faith for Education Afternoon Tea in Penn's Landing.

The event honors women who have contributed to the education of youth.

In addition to a traditional tea, there was also live music entertainment and door prizes.

The money raised helps African-Americans get to, and through, college.
