"Journey of hope" training program

JUNIATA PARK (WPVI) -- Some local church leaders are learning new ways to support people with cancer.

Representatives from 35 churches learned how to build a cancer care ministry within their congregation.

The goal is to be there for patients and help them with their needs after a life altering diagnosis.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America hosted this "Journey of hope" training program at its Juniata Park location.
