Nia Andrews crowned Miss Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- There is a new Miss Philadelphia!

Nia Andrews took over the crown after a Saturday evening competition, hosted by our own Matt Pellman in University City.

Andrews is a 22-year-old native of Philadelphia.

As Miss Philadelphia she receives a $4,000 scholarship.

She will also act as an ambassador to the city, and she has a shot at winning the Miss Pennsylvania pageant in June.
