Police chase involving stolen airport van ends in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A police chase that began in Baltimore, Maryland, ended in New Castle, Delaware, Saturday morning.

Police say a woman stole an airport shuttle van from The Baltimore Washington International Airport and took off.

A high-speed police chase ensued.

It came to an end on Bellecor Drive, a dead-end road off of Route 202 in New Castle.

The woman is now in custody.

Police are working to determine why the van was stolen in the first place.
