Man hospitalized after shooting in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after being shot in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. Wednesday along the 3100 block of Custer Street.

Police arrived to find a man shot in the chest.

They took the victim to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

There is no word on who shot the man or why.
