Pedestrian struck, killed in Mount Laurel, N.J.

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man was struck and killed while trying to walk across Route 73 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes near Fellowship Road.

Medics found the victim to be unresponsive.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver stopped at the scene.

An investigation into this incident continues.
