Eighteen dogs rescued from the Louisiana flood zone are now up for adoption in South Jersey.

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Eighteen dogs rescued from the Louisiana flood zone are now up for adoption in South Jersey.

The pups were brought to the Camden County Animal Shelter in Blackwood, to ease the extreme overcrowding in Louisiana's animal shelters.

The 12 puppies and six adult dogs have been checked out by a vet. They are healthy and ready for new homes.
