FOP endorses Rich Negrin for Philadelphia DA

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Rich Negrin received a big endorsement Wednesday in his campaign for Philadelphia District Attorney.

The Fraternal Order of Police, the Guardian Civic League and other groups of law enforcers announced their support for his candidacy.

Negrin is a former city managing director under former mayor Michael Nutter and left the job to work in a private firm.

Current D.A. Seth Williams is under federal investigation and announced he would not seek a third term.
