Company crowdfunds LEGO-inspired tape

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If there's a LEGO lover in your house, behold the latest in building block adventures that's building up quite the excitement on social media.

It's not made by LEGO itself, but the company behind it says this flexible, bendable tape turns anything into a LEGO-friendly surface.

Nimuno crowdfunded for the LEGO tape, which it calls Loops.

It's an adhesive plastic strip with bumps on one side and compatible with a number of building block brands.

They say you can finally build around corners and curves and cut it to create new possibilities.

The idea has the internet reliving its childhood.
