CLAYTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Authorities have identified the man who was found shot to death inside a home in Clayton, New Jersey.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's office said Kenneth Mosley, 33, was found dead inside his girlfriend's home in the unit block of Downs Street.

The discovery came after police were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. Friday for a report of shots fired.

"Between 3 and 3:30 my wife and I woke up to what we thought was gunfire. About three shots," said neighbor Andrew Walton. "Before we could even call police or anything like that, police were showing up outside and they were cordoning off the house next door to us."

Investigators believe the gunman approached the sliding glass door and opened fire while Mosley was sitting in the living room.

While investigators believe Mosley was targeted, they don't know why.

Two other adults and two children were inside the home at the time, but no other injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the prosecutor's office GCPO Det. Michael Bates at 856-384-5552 or Clayton Det. Nick Carr at 856-881-2301.
