Missing boy, 6, from Cobbs Creek found safe

COBBS CREEK (WPVI) -- It was a real scare for a family in Philadelphia's Cobbs Creek section Saturday morning when a 6-year-old boy went missing.

The child, identified as Trevor Montgomery, was last seen in his bedroom inside his home on the 700 block of Ithan Street around 9:30 Friday night.

When his family went to check on him this morning around 8, they say he was not there.

His disappearance sparked a frantic search.

But we're happy to report he was found safe around 1 p.m. Saturday.

The details surrounding his disappearance remain unknown.
