Teen injured in West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A teenager was injured in a shooting in West Philadelphia.

It happened near the intersection of 50th Street and Haverford Avenue.

Police were called to the scene just after 4 p.m.

That's where police found a 17-year-old shot in the upper body.

Medics rushed the teen to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

His condition is unknown at this time.
