FREEPORT, Ill. (WPVI) --Prom night can cause big stress, from the dress or tux to the flowers and the date.
Now, Aquin Catholic High School in Freeport, Illinois is trying to alleviate the anxiety of finding someone to take with you by choosing students' dates at random.
They call it: Prom Draw.
The male students pick a card at random with the name on the card reading the name of their prom date.
They then they have to come up with a creative skit to ask their date to the big dance.
The school says the idea was to ensure that nobody is left without a date.
The school says they vote on it every year. The students love it and it's been a tradition there for more than 90 years.
