It's a debate that's been dividing our newsroom, and one that some people have been tossing and turning over.
The burning question: When buying a new mattress, would you buy a floor model for a deep discount?
A producer at Action News started the heated conversation, saying when she went to get a new mattress, one retailed for $2,200, but she could have gotten it for $1,110 - more than $1,000 off if she took the floor model.
So we got you in on the action, and started a poll on Alicia Vitarelli's Facebook page, asking "Would you buy a floor model mattress?"
??? said absolutely not, so gross, followed by ??? who said maybe for the right price, and then ??? said sure it's worth it.
You should know, with the discount, you also lose out on the option for a warranty, because it's been sort of used and tried and it is what it is.
