WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Authorities in Delaware say a man was seriously injured when he was crushed by falling steel beams.

The incident happened Monday morning at Steel Suppliers Erectors in Wilmington.

Wilmington Fire Department spokesman James Jobes says Wilmington police and emergency rescue personnel were called to the business, where they found the worker trapped under a fallen beam.

The worker, who'd been helping with unloading the beams, sustained a fracture on one leg and damage to the other.

Jobes says the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but in stable condition.
