A Chester County high school is closed Friday after a potentially deadly bacteria was found in the school?s hot water system.

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. -- A Chester County high school is closed Friday after a potentially deadly bacteria was found in the school's hot water system.

It's happening at Kennett High School in Kennett Square.

District officials say the discovery came during routine testing.

Legionella bacteria can cause Legionnaire's Disease.

The district says there have been no confirmed cases.

An environmental remediation firm has been hired to eliminate the bacteria.
