Man shot in the face after gunfire in Kensington
Philadelphia police say a man was shot in the face after gunfire erupted in the Kensington section.

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a man was shot in the face after gunfire erupted in the Kensington section.

Officers were called out to the 3400 block of North 2nd Street around 5:30 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of gunfire.

Police found blood in the parking lot, and a coat, but no victim.

A short time later an unidentified male was dropped off at Episcopal Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.

He was transferred over to Temple where he's listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
