Fire damages apartments in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Fire damaged apartments above a storefront in South Philadelphia.

The flames broke out after 12:30 a.m. Thursday on a back deck along the 800 block of Washington Avenue.

Firefighters arrived and had the situation under control within 15 minutes.

Everyone in the building made it out safely.

No injuries were reported.
