TITUSVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Easter bunny was waving to drivers outside the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad on Route 29 in Titusville, New Jersey Friday.

The annual spring flower sale is underway and the fire house is filled with all kinds of colorful flowers selling for anywhere from $5 to $40. It's their biggest fundraiser of the year.

"I'm a life member of the fire company anyway, so I do it because it helps the fire company and helps the community," Titusville resident Ed Crum said.

"Normally, lunch time is our busiest time. Saturday is always really busy. Last year was our first year selling out on Saturday, so we're all able to be home for Easter which was nice," Denise Kintzel of the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad said.

At Marrazzo's market in Ewing, shoppers were out working their shopping lists, picking up ham and all the other goodies that make up a holiday dinner.

Betty and Ed Stout will be hosting 29 people.

"Everybody brings things. I just have to provide the place and the plates and some of the food," Betty Stout said.

"But we get what everybody likes so there's never many leftovers," Ed Stout said.

Virginia Adams of Ewing plans to ditch the oven and cook on the grill.

"Grilling because the weather is supposed to be so nice so we're going to be out there. No ham, no lamb, just outdoor cooking," Adams said.

At the Trenton Farmers Market, people were lined up several deep in front of the Pulaski Meats counter.

The biggest seller is the kielbasa they've been making for 53 years now.

"For Easter it's usually a traditional package of kielbasa, fresh rye bread, and pierogis," Jim Kopley of Princeton said.
