Driver hurt in rollover crash in Fishtown

FISHTOWN (WPVI) -- Police say one man is hospitalized after the car he was driving crashed and overturned in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.

It happened at 2 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Beach Street.

Police say the car hit a curb and rolled over, trapping the driver inside.

Firefighters were able to free the victim, and he was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

There was no immediate word what caused the driver to lose control.
