Pregnant woman shot in Chester, Delaware County

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a pregnant woman is hospitalized after a shooting in Chester, Delaware County.

It happened around 9 p.m. Saturday at 9th and Lamokin streets.

The victim was rushed to Crozer Chester Medical Center with a stomach wound. The baby's fate is not yet known.

She was alert when she was taken to the hospital.

Police have not said if she was the target, or an innocent bystander.

The gunman remains on the loose.
