GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Police have identified a man shot and killed early Monday in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

22-year-old Boris Kimber, Jr. of the 1900 block of Graham Lane was shot after an argument erupted in a boarding house.

It happened at 12 a.m. Monday in the unit block of East Penn Street.

Investigators say Kimber and another man started arguing in a third floor apartment.

At some point, the man pulled out a gun and shot Kimber multiple times, killing him.

Police say the assailant, a 28-year-old man, fled the building.

Officers caught up with him a short time later and arrested him. His name has not been released.

The murder weapon was recovered near the scene.

There was no immediate word what led to the argument.
