Frankford shooting leaves man in critical condition

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for the shooter who seriously injured a man in Frankford.

Police say two men approached the 28-year-old victim at Frankford Avenue and Willard Street shortly after midnight Sunday.

They say one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim in his abdomen.

Police took him to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting.
