WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Police found a half-dressed man with gunshot wounds in West Philadelphia.
It happened at 1:45 a.m. Thursday on Ludlow Street near South Millick Street.
Officers found a 35-year-old man suffering two gunshots wounds to a leg.
The victim told police a gunman tried to rob him.
He was wearing only a shirt and underwear.
"Why he's not wearing any pants, or any shoes or sneakers on his feet... is unusual," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. "So we're not certain that he's being completely honest with us."
The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
The shooter was spotted running from the scene.
There have been no arrests.
