7-Eleven holdup caught on camera in Manayunk

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- An armed robbery was caught on camera last week at a 7-Eleven store in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.

It happened Thursday along Ridge Avenue.

Surveillance video shows a man wearing a safety vest entering the store.

Behaving like a shopper, the man makes a phone call.

Minutes later, a second suspect enters the store. He shows a gun and jumps over the counter, demanding money.

The man in the vest then also pulls out a gun.

The two got away with $200 in cash, plus boxes of cigarettes.

The 7-Eleven clerk on duty at the time was not hurt.

Anyone who recognizes either suspect or has other information about the case is asked to contact Philadelphia police.
