VIDEO: Koala climbs tree after 9 weeks in rehab
After spending nine weeks in rehabilitation, Heather the koala is ready to climb trees.

An elderly koala named Heather has successfully managed to climb a tree after spending nine weeks in rehabilitation.

Heather first came into the care of rescuers at Port Stephens Koalas Sanctuary in New South Wales in March and was unable to move her legs. In April, she began acupuncture and steroid treatment to help her regain muscle mass.

After two months of recovery Heather began climbing again under the watchful eyes of her caretakers. Way to go Heather!
