Teenagers hurt in fiery crash on Kelly Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- A fiery crash on Kelly Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park injured two teenagers.

It happened at 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say a 19-year-old driver lost control and crashed near West Hunting Park Avenue.

A fire erupted after the impact, leaving the Ford Mustang GT heavily damaged.

The driver and an 18-year-old female passenger were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

Police were working to determine what caused the driver to lose control.
