HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A teenager is gunned down in the middle of the afternoon. Now officials are asking for your help in finding his killer.

Nineteen-year-old Jamer Jackson tragically lost his life on Monday November 23, 2015 in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section.

Santo Montecalvo of the Citizens Crime Commission said, "At approximately 4:08 p.m., 39th district police officers responded to the 4200 block of Hicks Street. Upon their arrival they found a male, later identified as Mr. Jackson, 19-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds."

Jackson died later at the hospital.

The city of Philadelphia is offering up to $20,000 in reward money for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

"Just pick up the phone, you know, call us, give us the information, you know who did it. Somebody out there did it. It was 4:00 in the afternoon. Somebody seen it. Please help this family get closure," said Montecalvo.

Again the reward being offered is up to $20,000.
