Legion of Excellence Medals

MALVERN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police officers from across the greater Philadelphia area are honored for their work in the line of duty.

Officers from Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties were presented with Legion of Excellence Medals for acts of bravery and other outstanding police work.

Among them, Philadelphia Police Sergeant Sylvia Young and University of Pennsylvania Officer Ed Miller.

Both were shot during a shooting rampage in West Philadelphia, last year.
