BELLEFONTE, Del. (WPVI) -- The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office has determined a house fire in Bellefonte, Delaware was accidental.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday on the unit block of Weir Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to heavy flames shooting from the home.

The fire started inside the first floor sun room when a burning candle ignited a couch.

Fortunately, everyone made it out of the home safely.

It took crews forty-five minutes to get the blaze under control.

The fire damage is estimated at $20,000.

Officials say there were smoke alarms inside the home that activated.
